From a young age, I have always loved to paint, draw and create. I started out drawing cartoon characters and then sketching and designing gowns but then became interested in painting portraits in oil. A few years ago, I was given an opportunity with our local koi & goldfish club for a project to be creative and free. With this freedom, I discovered abstracts. Not just abstracts, but painting them on glass. The glass adds dimension to the colors and allows the paints to flow and blend freely. This has allowed me to explore new techniques and color combinations. It has opened new doors for me as an artist. My goal is to create a piece that speaks for itself and creates a positive feeling or emotion.
